Polynesian Basketball has gave me the opportunity to showcase my skills in front of incredible coaches and connect with people from all over the world. Through this program, I not only grew as a player but also as a person.
I was given the chance to study overseas for free, something I never thought would be possible, and I gained so much knowledge both on and off the court. But what makes Polynesian Basketball so special isn’t just the opportunities, it’s the people.
The coaches, players, and mentors genuinely care about you, pushing you to be your best while always having your back. It’s more than just a basketball program, it’s a community that lifts each other up and creates lifelong connections. I’m beyond grateful to be part of the Polynesian Basketball family, and I know that no matter where life takes me, this experience will always be a part of who I am.

I will like to thank the Polynesian basketball community for all the support and guidance they’ve given to me during my journey. There passion, detection and hard work inspired me and helped me grow as a player. Because of the values they displayed I was able to be confident with in myself.
They encouraged me to achieve and instilled in me the value of perseverance. There expertise in skills like footwork, defence, and basketball IQ have helped me improve in ways I never thought was possible. I was given so many opportunities by the Polynesian basketball community.
I was able to play against other players in America and visit university’s as well. The opportunity they’ve given to me really grew my love for basketball.
To me, Polynesian basketball is not only a organisation but my second family as well. They supported me during my difficult moments. And pushed me to my limits. They believed in me, and that helped me change my mentality.
I am truly grateful for the knowledge and skills they have shared to me. They really had a big part in my basketball journey. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be able to be the player I am today.
